Creating From Within

An IFS journey for creators, leaders, and visionaries ready to bring their medicine into the world

This is a deeply intimate and courageous 6-week journey for people who are carrying an idea, a vision, a project, or a deep desire to create — and feel that something inside is holding their process back.

Together, we will meet the parts that arise as we try to step into our power, and we will do that through the paradigm of Internal Family Systems. We will learn how to approach ourselves with curiosity and compassion, and cultivate the insight needed for transformation and change to take place.

The journey takes place online, in a small and intimate group.

Who this is for

  • This journey is for people who feel called to create or offer something into the world, but notice that something inside is holding the process back and that inner work needs to happen for things to move forward.

  • It is for people who keep shaping their work, voice, or decisions around what will keep the peace or earn approval, or who find it hard to take the lead without second-guessing how others will respond.

  • It is for people who hear the inner critic loud and clear, and find themselves doubting, minimizing, or questioning what they already know.

  • It is for people who feel pulled toward perfection, and who keep waiting for things to be more polished, more ready, or more certain before they begin.

  • It is for people who know what matters to them, but keep getting distracted, scattered, or pulled away from the work they care about most.

  • It is for people who sense the same resistance returning again and again, even when they genuinely want to move forward.

  • If you recognize yourself in the central theme of this journey and in one or more of the patterns named here, then this journey is for you.

What is Internal Family Systems?

Internal Family Systems (IFS) is a way of understanding ourselves as made up of different parts, rather than as one single, fixed self. Most of us know what it’s like to have different sides of us show up — a part that wants to create, a part that is afraid; a part that criticizes, and a part that wants to rest.

In IFS, we understand these sides are parts with their own feelings, beliefs, and roles. Some parts try to protect us, and some show up as patterns in our daily lives — like perfectionism, for example.

IFS also recognizes that beneath all these parts, there is a core Self: a steadier place within us that can bring curiosity, compassion, courage, and clarity to what we are experiencing. From this place, we can get to know our parts, listen to what they are trying to do for us, and begin to relate to them in a different way.

In this journey, we will work primarily with parts that carry protective roles in your inner system — the parts that try to manage, prevent, avoid, or control what feels difficult. Alongside this, we will practice cultivating Self-energy, so that you can meet these parts with more presence and build a more trusting, self-led relationship with your inner world.

The parts you’ll meet

❋ The Critic

The part of you that points out what’s wrong before anyone else can — in your work, your ideas, or yourself. It has a sharp eye and rarely lets you enjoy something without also finding its flaw.

Along the journey, we will work with five common parts that often show up when we are trying to move forward in life and work. These are not fixed identities. They are parts, patterns, and protective strategies that may show up differently for different people.

❋ The Procrastinator

The part of you that puts things off, finds one more task to do first, or waits for the “right moment” that never quite comes. Even when you have every intention to start, something keeps pulling your attention elsewhere.

❋ The Perfectionist

The part of you that keeps raising the bar just as you’re about to reach it. Nothing feels quite ready, quite polished, or quite done enough to put into the world.

❋ The Addict

The part of you that reaches for quick relief when things feel too intense — through screens, doomscrolling, substances, food, busyness, or anything offering fast escape. It steps in the moment something feels too big to sit with.

❋ The People-Pleaser

The part of you that says yes when you want to say no, and shapes what you think, feel, or want around what will keep others happy. It works hard to avoid disappointing anyone — often at the cost of what you actually need.

What will you gain?

What will you gain?

You will have the chance to meet five common parts that often show up when we are trying to move forward in life and create. Through this process, you will gain a deeper understanding of these parts and more clarity about the inner dynamics at work.

As things begin to shift inside, new movement becomes possible on the outside — whether that takes the form of creating, finding greater clarity of purpose, reconnecting with genuine motivation, or entering a more natural state of doing.

You will also be introduced to Internal Family Systems as a living paradigm: a way of understanding your inner world through parts work and accessing Self. If you join the additional Thursday sessions, you will receive a deeper introduction to the IFS model, learn how to bring it into your daily life, and gain practical tools for continuing parts work on your own.

You will also be part of a small circle of people who are meeting their own inner patterns alongside you. Over the course of the journey, there will be space for supportive agreements to emerge between participants, where this feels helpful and mutually desired — whether that is checking in around a creative commitment, offering accountability, sharing how a familiar part has been showing up, or simply knowing that someone else is walking with you.

These connections are always optional and grounded in consent, care, and the shared agreements of the container. They are an invitation to let the work be supported not only by your own inner process, but also by the presence of a thoughtful and committed group.

Reconnect with your body and mind as you escape the noise of everyday life.
